Located near downtown Steinbach, the six-story, 136-suite building sits on beautifully landscaped property and offers ready access to a pharmacy, banks, and other amenities such as shops and restaurants.

Building Specs
The first phase of Fernwood Place was completed in 1982, and the complete six-story, 136-suite building was finished in 1986. Today, it is owned and operated by Steinbach Housing Inc. and supported by subsidies from the federal and provincial governments. Constructed of steel and concrete, it provides maximum safety in case of fire while offering a quiet environment for residents.
One-bedroom units at Fernwood Place are approximately 560 square feet, and two-bedroom apartments are approximately 730 square feet.
